The Speech & Language Therapy department at NHS Western Isle was aware of the lack of interactive resources existing to help their Gaelic speaking patients. There are plenty of speech and language therapy materials for English but for Scottish Gaelic there were none… until now.
Working closely with the S&L T team at NHS Western Isles and Stòrlann Nàiseanta na Gàidhlig, Lumberjack Digital has created the much needed tools for speech therapists, schools’ staff and parents to work with children that are Gaelic speaking or are learning through the medium of Gaelic. A Gaelic Speech & Language Therapy App, for both Android and iOS and a website holding all the information, downloadable worksheets and interactive games and resources.
